My favorite days are when my husbands takes a week day off to spend time with Nicholas and I..........I hope you enjoy the pictures.

The phrase stay at home mom really doesn't ring true. I know a whole crew of mothers and the last place you will find us is at home. Sometimes I wonder has it always been this way, are we the new Susie homemakers. Were Susie and Betty as involved as we are.

I hang with mothers who are hardcore when it comes to learning(I find myself somewhere in the middle). We definitely put our childrens education into our own hands. I know a lot of parent who believe that it is a teachers job to teach their kids. I disagree!!! You can find me and my crew in the oddest places adding education into whatever it is we are doing. A walk around the block is a learning experience for my son. We talk about the color of the leafs or can you read what that signs says? I try to never miss a opportunity for learning.

I have a friend who has a super toddler on her hands. Jayden, to put a name to this mini genius. At the age of 3 this little guy can speak two languages and read. His mother (my bestie) deserves lots of praise. Pat yourself on the back girlie.

We also break a lot of stereo types too, I get a kick out of my son answering questions that none of the other random kids know. Is it sad that I love when people ask his age and are shock that he know certain things? Watching my son educate other kids at the park about the bugs that they are playing with warms my heart.

So was Susie homemaker sitting at the kitchen table with her child? Are we the new generation of "stay at home" moms? I surely hope so.

Just to Hear You Say That

Even the most confident women needs to hear to hear praises or that they are BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!

I am definitely blessed with the person I choose to be my partner and am blessed that he choose me(this thing only works if it goes both ways). We have had our ups and downs...oh YES we have, but at the end of the day there is no better feeling than having a conversation with my best friend.


I have learned and "conditioned" him that it is the simple things that keep this boat afloat. For instance I stop what I am doing when he comes home from work or just picking up something(without him asking)from the store that he said he needed/wanted.

I love that he kisses me on my forehead every morning before he leaves for work, and I still get the you need anything call before he comes home.

We still say Thank you to each other for all the simple things too. I still get a thank you for cooking dinner!!!!!!!

But what I LOVE the most is that he is a amazing father and that he truly takes me AS I AM(bio polar mess and all)<-----kidding

OK so this post might be a lil mushy gushy but again simply My Thoughts My Blog so I can do what i want!!

Right now we are definitely being tested.......but there is no doubt in my mind that my best friend and I will stand strong.

So my mother-in-law has moved in. Its been about 2 weeks........... the title of this entry speaks volumes.....any advice, from someone who has been here?
